This flexible motor connection can connect your driving shaft to the driven shaft while minimising any misalignment to the greatest extent possible. Another significant benefit of this Flexible Coupling is its low backlash. 20mm OD x 25mm L 5x5mm bore.

This machined aluminium flexible connection has an outer diameter of 20mm and a length of 25mm.

The screws that hold the shafts together will be tightened, but not excessively. The shafts will not be damaged by these clamping couplings. It has a spiral incision in the middle that makes it flexible, allowing it to be fitted to two shafts even if they are not precisely co-linear and reducing binding effects. Such couplings are also known as Beam coupling, helical coupling, Flexible coupling.

Helical cut makes them behave like a springy in the X Y and Z linear axis but not in the rotational axis. That means that you won’t get more backlash, hence they are suitable for precision CNC work.
